Chuck Shattles

Chuck Shattles graduated with honors from St. Mary’s University School of Law.  In law school, Chuck was inducted into the Order of Barristers, an organization reserved for students who exhibited excellence through the art of courtroom advocacy.  Chuck was also selected to become a member of Phi Delta Phi, the international legal honors fraternity.

Chuck has been practicing law for over 12 years.  He is licensed to practice in all the state courts of Texas, various Federal District Courts across Texas, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Since he began his practice, Chuck has had the privilege of representing clients in litigation proceedings across Texas, including matters in San Antonio, Eagle Pass, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, McAllen, Houston, Corpus Christi, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Dallas, Midland, El Paso, Laredo, Brownsville, Bandera, Gonzalez, Del Rio and Cotulla.

Chuck has extensive experience in handling all types of civil litigation.  He concentrates his practice on wrongful death, serious injury, and insurance litigation.  Chuck has litigated hundreds of cases arising out of personal injury, medical negligence, professional negligence, consumer fraud/DTPA and general civil matters.

Chuck has been recognized as a “Super Lawyers - Rising Star” in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Only 2.5% of attorneys in Texas are recognized as Rising Stars. Rising Stars are chosen by Thompson Reuters and published in Texas Monthly Magazine.

In 2012, 2013 and 2014, Chuck was distinguished as one of “S.A. Best Lawyers” in the field of personal injury by S.A. Scene Magazine.

Chuck is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
